Faith House thanks supporters of its annual fund raiser
Dear Editor,
Faith House would like to thank all of the people who helped make our Third Annual “Second Chance Dance” a great success. We would like to thank our corporate sponsorships: Platinum: “Children’s Mardi Gras Run” headed up by Ranch Supply, Hesnor Contractors, A&A portables, Jack Miller, Slap Ya Mama, B&S Grocery, Evangeline Feed Store, Danny’s Quick Stop, Mark Duplechain Paint and Body Shop, Wal-Mart; Silver: CLECO, Ville Platte Medical Center; Bronze: Chapman Dirt Services, LaVille Funeral Home, District Attorney Trent Brignac, CenturyTel, Dr. Hosea Soileau, Clyde Fontenot, Farm Bureau/Evangeline Parish, Citizens Bank, Dr. Jose Dorta, Evangeline Floor Covering, Bob’s Electrical, Cameron, Medicine Chest Pharmacy, Cabot, Kim’s Image, Vidrine Community Clinic, Woodman of the World, United Home Care Services LLC, and Carol Soileau.
We would like to “thank” all the many businesses that donated items for our silent auction, especially during our hard economic times. The auction was very successful!
A special “thank you” goes out to the people who gave up their time to help make this dance so great: Renee Brown, Lisa Duplechain, Ava Vidrine, Pam McGee, Camille Fontenot and Darin Bordelon. Also, to the many other volunteers who stepped up to help with decorations, ticket sales, bar- tending and helping with the auction. Without these people, we would not have been able to put on this dance.
We must “thank” Evangeline Washington who helped decorate the Civic Center. It made the civic center “come to life.”
We would like to thank all of you that came to the dance. It was a wonderful evening of fun. De Ja Vue was great! We are already planning for next year. When you hear the advertisements, mark your calendars.
Sincerely,
