Baby shower fêtes Jill Villejoin

Mother-to-be Jill Villejoin was the guest of honor at a baby shower held at the home of her sister, Brandy Freed, on the afternoon of Sunday, April 6. Nearly 70 guests were on hand for the event.

The Freed home was decorated with numerous fresh floral arrangements of pink roses, white lilies and green Bells of Ireland.

In addition to Freed, the shower was hosted by Denise Abshire, Amanda Breaux, Rachelle Cart, Angelique Credeur, Candace Fontenot, Kayla Faulk, Joshlynn Guidry, Phyllis Hebert, Lauren Landreneau, Carey Lawson, Sandra LeJeune, Patti Simon and Jamie Soileau.

Special guests at the shower included the great-grandmothers-to-be of the new baby, Gloria Cart, Helen Thevis and Hazel Villejoin, as well as grandmothers-to-be Glenda Thevis and Nancy Villejoin.

Villejoin, the former Jill Thevis, is married to Gregory Villejoin, and they are expecting a baby girl, Ava Jacqueline, on June 7. This will be the couple’s first child.

Jill is the daughter of Glenda and Tommy Thevis of Mowata, and Gregory is the son of Nancy and Daryl Villejoin of Crowley.
