Wanted fugitives sought by Crowley Police, Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office

Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish is asking for the public’s help to locate a pair of wanted fugitives.

The Crowley Police Department is trying to locate Qualyan Zachary, black male, 28 years of age. He’s described as being 6 feet in height and weighing 165 pounds.

His last known address is 1209 Jacobs Ave., Crowley.

Zachary is wanted for possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance, fourth-offense domestic abuse battery, aggravated flight from an officer and violation of parole.

Also being sought is Algernon Wilson, 29, of Crowley. He is described as a black male, 5 feet, 9 inches in height, weighing 195 pounds with short hair. 

His last known address is 524 Moore Ave., Crowley.

Wilson is wanted for aggravated assault with a firearm, convicted felon in possession of a firearm and simple battery.

Anyone with information regarding either of these wanted fugitives — or any other crime — should call the tips line at 789-TIPS (789-8477).

All callers will remain anonymous and can receive up to a $1,000 cash reward.

Sheriff’s office seeking Jacobs

CHURCH POINT – Authorities in Acadia Parish are asking the public assistance in locating 30-year-old John Blake Jacobs of Church Point.

According to Acadia Parish Sheriff Wayne Melancon, Jacobs is wanted in connection with the simple burglary of an outer building located in the 2500 block of Brigman Highway near Church Point which was reported on March 9.

A warrant of arrest was issued for Jacobs whose last known address was listed as the 2700 block of Cherry Road in Church Point.
