Moore arrested in murder

Crowley Police have arrested Brandon Moore, 31, of Crowley and have charged him in connection with the April 5 murder of Perry Davis III.
“Our investigators have been working non-stop to solve this case and have followed up on every lead possible. We are still working on various pieces of evidence to present a prosecutable case to the district attorney’s office. We still have a lot of work to do,” stated Chief KP Gibson.
The arrest of Moore does not close the case, according to Gibson. He added that there are still questions which need to be answered and evidence with needs to be processed through the crime lab.
Moore has been charged with one count of first-degree murder, one count of attempted first-degree murder and convicted felon in possession of a firearm. No bond has been set on Moore.
