UPDATE: Four schools on lockdown in Church Point

UPDATE: The bank robbery in Church Point earlier this afternoon has placed four schools in Acadia Parish on lockdown. Church Point Elementary, Church Point Middle and Church Point High schools have all been placed on lockdown, according Superintendent John Bourque, as has Our Mother of Peace Elementary School, according to officials with the school.

Anyone with information on the robbery is urged to contact the Church Point Police Department at 337-684-5455.
