Tiffany Boullion becomes Mrs. Sam Gullett

A six-thirty evening wedding ceremony on Saturday, May 19, 2012, at The Carriage House Courtyard at River Ranch in Lafayette united in marriage Tiffany Blair Boullion of Rayne and Samuel Hunter Gullett of Lafayette.

The bride is the daughter of David and Bonnie Boullion of Rayne. Her grandparents ate Mr. and Mrs. Larry Garrett of Rayne, Margaret Boullion of Rayne and the late Wesley Boullion. She is a 2005 graduate of Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish, 2009 graduate of The University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and is presently attending graduate school at ULL for her MBA while employed as the HR manager at Camelot of Broussard.

The groom is the son of Alice Fallis Gullett and Michael Gullett of Lafayette. His grandparents are the late Evelyn and Claude Fallis of Mobile, Ala., Bea Gullett of Lafayette, and the late Samuel and Sadie Gullett of Lafayette. He is a 2004 graduate of Acadiana High School, 2010 graduate of the College of Engineering of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and is employed by Halliburton.

Against a musical background provided by violinist Sarah Walker, the bride entered the ceremony on the arm of her father. She wore an Alfred Angelo design “Point d’Esprit,” ivory taffeta sheath silhouette gown with a sweetheart neckline and empire waist. The creation featured embroidered lace embellished with crystal beadings with a flowing, detachable, chapel-length train accompanied with a traditional pencil-edge veil of sheer illusion. She carried a vintage inspired bouquet of fresh Vendela and Sahara roses accented with pearls and satin ribbon. The bouquet’s stem revealed an antique diamond broach from the bride’s great-grandmother.

Attending her sister as maid of honor was Paige Elizabeth Boullion.

Bridesmaids were Lauren Judice, Lindsey Lagrange and Jennifer Lavigne, cousins of the bride, and Lesley Icenhour, sister of the groom.

Bridal attendents wore formal gowns of taupe chiffon featuring a square neckline and shirred capped sleeves. Gathered fabric on the bodice and draped at the front of the A-lined skirt was divided by a pleated band encircling the natural waist. Each carried a smaller version of the bride’s bouquet with Vendela, Sahara and antique ivory roses.

Serving as flower girl was Audrey Lee, cousin of the bride. She wore a Cinderella-style ivory dress embellished with sequins and crystal lattice detail while carrying a delicate crystal and sequin woven basket filled with ivory rose petals.

The groom was attended by his uncle, John Fallis, as best man.

Groomsmen were Matt Gullett, brother of the groom, and friends Chris Metrejean, Chris Alcala and Adam Simon.

Ushering guests were Ricky Judice and Thomas Hajduk, cousins of the bride.

Serving as ring bearer was the bride’s godchild, Jack Lee.

Male attendants each wore a formal black Vera Wang tuxedo and coordinating bow tie and rose boutonniere for the lapel.

Immediately following the wedding ceremony, a reception was held in honor of the newlyweds at the Eleven Hundred Room at The City Club in Lafayette.

Among the refreshments provided for guests was the bride’s cake, a three-tier ivory confection accented with pearls and vintage lace encircled by ivory and cream roses, along with layers of Mexican white chocolate. The cake was served by Vickie Valencik, the bride’s godmother.

The groom’s cake was a ULL-theme confection served by his aunt, Sue Fallis.

In addition to guests attending from the Acadiana area, guests registered from points of Texas, Mississippi and North Carolina.

Following a Caribbean cruise, the couple will reside in Lafayette.

Prior to the wedding, a rehearsal dinner was held Friday, May 18, hosted at the home of Sue and John Fallis.
