Let’s talk hybrids

At the opening of the 106th annual Rice Field Day at the Rice Research Station, there were droves of farmers and industry personnel on hand to learn all they could about the latest advances in rice from researchers and commissioners, professors and more.

Rotary Club of Crowley hears about Project Front Yard

It was an afternoon of “new” at the Rotary Club of Crowley’s Tuesday meeting.

However, Attorney General Buddy Caldwell said not to expect same-sex marriages any time soon in Louisiana.

Rotarians celebrate year, install officers

After a year of projects and a district conference, you would have thought the Rotary Club of Crowley would have opted for an easy banquet Wednesday night.
That wasn’t the case. With the backdrop of the Grand Opera House, Rotarians welcomed music from Trevin Trahan during its cocktail social prior to the banquet and were eager to enjoy the night with flair.
