Rayne police are in the early stages of their investigation of a shooting that occurred Wednesday,May 7 in the 500 block of North Arenas Street.
In three separate incidents, the Rayne Police Department recently arrested three individuals.
Rayne Police Chief Carroll Stelly advised that LeRoy Begnaud, 29, aka Chip Begnaud, has escaped from the City of Rayne Jail.
On Monday, Nov. 11, at 5:55 p.m., the Rayne Police Department was notified of a single vehicle accident with a pedestrian.
